James Hillis is an Attending Neurologist at Massachusetts General Hospital and Assistant Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School. He is also the Director of Clinical Operations for the Digital Clinical Research Organization in Mass General Brigham AI. His research focuses on validation studies of diagnostic artificial intelligence algorithms, with studies that he has led being used for over 15 successful device submissions to the US Food and Drug Administration. He completed his medical school at the University of Melbourne before undertaking a Doctor in Philosophy at the University of Oxford. He subsequently completed the Brigham and Women’s Hospital / Massachusetts General Hospital Neurology Residency Program.
